We were really looking forward to shooting our friends Jamie & Joey. Thanks to our Florida summer weather we will be shooting them again very soon. After a day of record breaking July heat and sunshine within minutes of starting to shoot the clouds turned gray (4 stops on the camera) and then the rain came down. Fortunately we managed to get a few shots of this lovely young couple – We hope for better luck with the weather next time.
Yesterday we had so much fun with my new friend Jessica and her adorable daughters playing dress up in Matilda Jane (the most incredible children’s clothing line)! They were top models~ and since mom is the Matilda Jane “trunk keeper” for South Florida we had piles of clothes to work with~ my DREAM! I will be hosting a trunk show in August ….and we will be showing the first release of the fall line. SOOOO Excited:)

We had so much fun today with our new friends Ava and Van (also mom and grandma). Although baby Van is only a couple of weeks old~ he was totally fighting sleep. So Miss Ava got to play dress up, and blow lots of bubbles….what a great model! I was so happy a few days ago when the UPS man came to the door (John is getting concerned with my prop shopping addiction) because I knew this beautiful baby hammock would be so perfect to use in this newborn session. I always tell parents to be prepared to “hang out” for a while with us~ as it is SO TOTALLY worth it when their beautiful angel falls off to sleep and we get all the shots we were waiting for:)

It was Christmas in July again…..a box of beautiful new DREAM albums arrived yesterday. They are absolutely stunning. John and I are constantly looking for the best, unique, high quality products that best showcase the family art we produce. Dream album did not disappoint….the quality is amazing. LOVE them!

I just love when a new product arrives in the studio…..it is like christmas!! How adorable are these mini accordion albums~ they fit right in your purse so you can show your beautiful family to all your friends and loved ones:)

We donated the “Ultimate Portrait Collection” as an auction prize to support our friend Joey Fago’s LLS Man of the Year Campaign at the Gala Dinner. Blake’s mom and dad made a very generous bid which helped Joey raise the most money for this great cause ( and win MOY)….it also means that we get to work with this lovely fun family for quite a few sessions:) This sessions was mainly focused on the baby~ but you have to love big brothers. It is so sweet to watch them all in action together….we had a blast and are lucky to be a part in documenting the life of this wonderful family over the next few years.

We just love this family! They have been a client of ours for over 2 years. We first met Jessie when she was referred by Wilhelmina Models when she was starting her modeling and acting career. We are so happy (not at all surprised) to hear both Jessie’s younger brother, sister and even mom are now involved and doing really well.It is always a pleasure to photograph these kids~ and it was great to have a rain delay so that we could catch up during a coffee break!
